I bought these blocks for my child. She licked them and the colors came off. I think they should develop a saliva-proof coloring for their blocks. Also, the licking caused my child to be mocked in kindergarden due to the strange colors of her tongue. This tramatic experience has left her and our family scarred for life. I hate blocks. I’ll buy more tomorrow. Good bye.

These are the traditional wooden alphabet blocks, with embossed letters or numbers on 2 sides. I buy them for my umbrella cockatoo because they are American made (safe and lead free). I will continue to buy many sets.

Thirty years ago I made christmas trees using the blocks and this year I again, wanted to make trees for my relatives and friends, so these blocks really worked well. Thanks again.

I think the blocks are cute and my 20 month old is enjoying building with them, but I was very disappointed that there were only 50 blocks in the set. Why call them “ABC/123 Blocks”. The title is very misleading. He is enjoying the small size, as they fit well in his little hands. But I have to order more so we have enough to REALLY build with them. As far as being educational, I don’t think blocks, or any other such toy, are necessarily geared for education. I think they stimulate the mind in a creative direction, and help with fine motor coordination, and color recognition. Bottom line – he’s having fun with them, and that’s great!

I selected this one after reading the reviews here. Liked it very much till my son threw it on me and gave me a bump in my forehead. The blocks’ corners are very sharp and it cut my forehead. Otherwise it is very nice.
